Sunday Hunt with Golden uMAX

I didn't get to go hunting yesterday, but I did get out for a nice hunt today with one of my hunting buddies, Big Cat Daddy. We met for a good breakfast and headed to some old ball fields thinking they would be vacant today. Wrong, all kinds of little critters with uniforms running around :surrender: we drove a little further and pulled into a location near the fields and once there we discovered a nice little area to hunt that had the biggest pecan tree I've seen for awhile as the center piece. Must have had a 5 foot trunk. Anyway, we started hunting and it was full of quarters, dimes, and a few nickels. Unfortunately, no silver coins this time or wheaties. I don't think this area has been hunted, at least any time soon. I got a nice handful of quarters, dimes, and pennies. We founds the usual junk and cleaned up the area. Looking forward to going back and I'll grab some pictures of the tree and site next time. The Golden did good filtering out the tabs and letting me know before I dug. Good nice high tones on the quarters and dimes. Music to my ear :detecting::crazy: Anyway, I hope you all got to get out and do a little tecting this weekend. HH TonyTX :detecting: :tesoro:

Sounds like the Golden is a fine machine.

Glad you are connecting with it. Tesoro's

are fun and powerful little detectors. I have

yet to be dissapointed with one.

HH,

Hey Tab... Gotta agree. Looking forward to hearing about that Vaquero!! :clapping: Later... HH TonyTX

I'm already thinking I'm gonna really like this Golden. I really need to thank Mike Hillis for his help getting me started! He knows the Golden for certain. Thank you, Mike!
Congrats on your recoveries! Sounds like it was a good thing those little "creatures" made you find another spot.

Pap, These Golden's are nice detectors! :super: Glad you were able to pick one up. They are great coin machines from what I'm finding out and that is what I had bought it for. I love the tone ID and the adjustable notch. I left my camera at home today so I didn't get any pictures but I will next time we go. Big Cat Daddy took some pics so maybe I can use his. Yea, those little uniformed critters helped us find a neat little ol' detecting site!! :bouncy: Catch ya later, TonyTX

Yep, there are only great results with Tesoro units. My lowly Compadre
never ceases to amaze me and others I've let use it. Well done, Tesoro!

Wayne, You and a bunch of folks are have great finds with the Compadre! :clapping: You can't beat the one knob ease and good depth and discrimination of the Tesoro Compadre. I really am appreciating the light weight of my Tesoro. It's about half the weight of my MXT and that is quiet nice after hunting all day! They are fun detectors to hunt with and built well. HH TonyTX
