Sunday Hunt video With the Fors Core-5 inch coil in heavy iron

Ive hunted this site alot over the last 10 years.....But its always hiding something in all that iron/nails...The Fors core with the 5 inch coil was the perfect choice for this site.. Thanks for sharing. I'm surprised how deep the 5 inch coil goes. Were you in gen or DI2 mode ?

about the letters IHS on the cross you found : Briefly it means Iesus Hominum Salvator – Jesus the Savior of men (for more specifics see link below)

Thank you for the info....A find like that means alot to me..It meant an awful lot to someone im sure..Much more personal than coins..I was using Di2 .90 sens.I ran 0 disc for a short while but the noise was abit much..I set it on 40 and worked slow..I was surprised to find as many good targets as i did.And the size of some of these targets were small..That foil barely set off the pinpointer yet the detector saw it well..Not real exciting hunt to some ...But finding any good targets here impressed me .Thx for watching

Thanks for the video. I have found some very nice old coins and tokens with the Fors Core and the oor coil in the iron / rusted tin infested sites I hunt. It does an amazing job at sniffing out the goodies. I will always have a Fors Core.....just great machines. Generally, I run Di3 gain around 85 and ID Mask at either 10 or bump it up to 21 to just knock out nails and quiet it down a bit.

Thanks for the info. I assume you were digging everything above iron ? I haven't used DI2 mode once yet. I'm still getting used to the CoRe. I wanted to get a feel for the tones in DI3 when looking for coins.
I would probably set it to DI2 when digging just about every good signal, not just high conductors.

Thats what i figured on this site..Ive hit it so hard,I was digging anything not iron(if possible..lol)...I usually use no id mask but my ears started to bleed from all the nails...HH
