Sunday (How many coins must you find to call it a coin spill?)

Here's the deal. When I say I am absolutely not hunting tomorrow I always end up going out. When I get home I always make a post stating that when I say I am absolutely not hunting tomorrow I always go hunting. I post this to continue the pattern. Back to the hayfield yesterday. I was in no shape to post this when I got home last night. Lots of cool stuff but no silver or gold. My digs are pictured. Of note:

1. A real great find. The aluminum $1 coin from the large music festival previously mentioned. The organizer had this great idea to outlaw cash and only use script so he could "tax" his vendors. About and hour after the gates came crashing down and the security abandoned their posts, the US dollar became coin of the realm again.

2. 2 wheats stuck together. Is this a coin spill? I sort of hope it is because it would be my oldest. I sure wish the guy dropped a few dimes and I really looked!

3. A pin from the North American Fishing Club.

4. Check out the green quarter. It sure looked like a large cent when I pulled it out of the ground.

5. 80ish coins for 10+ dollars.

Chris

I will probably not be hunting today.

Nice... It appears you have a great spot for neat finds. HH

Wheaties = more olders silvers for you to find.

Ok. I found 2/3 of a wheat cent coin spill.

Chris

I'm voting for 2 or more as a coin spill. Twice I have found 2 wheats stuck together.

yea, I think 2 coins or more constitutes a coin spill.
