Sunday Finds

Went out for two hours on Sunday, 39 degrees and sunny. First items is some type of compact cover, next I think
is some type of flatware, a button, next a buckle maybe, next items is 99.8g and maybe a handle for something..
and last some type of unknown clip!

Always interesting finding "stuff" that you know served some wonderful job for someone and years later,
you rediscover it and have no clue what it is or what it did?

Man, I love this hobby!:detecting::minelab:

Good going AJ,

I ponder on things that I dig too.

Yep, GOTTA LUV IT !:thumbup:

Nice interesting finds. Kind of hard to believe that things like these get forgotten about and the only way to know what they were is if you can find someone that has some similar and know what they are and what the purpose of them were. Who knows. The 2nd Pic may have been an old Letter Opener. Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

I reckon the fifth item is a brass knob off a four poster bed....:wave:

Second picture down>>My grandmother had Silverware that looked like that..That piece looks like her Butter knife >>Maybe ????????? Or at least the spreading end of her old set. Looks like handle part might be gone..If that what it is.
