I went out for three hours tonight still useing the 6a with the ten on it.
First hit in fifteen minutes was a 1899 barber "good shape" should have quit then.
Next 2 hrs. 45 mins. found 3 wheatys, a fork, half a spoon, butter knive. lotttttsss of nails.

Bowhawk, you found a nice silver coin, cant complain. I have had that same situation happen to me on SEVERAL occassions, Find a nice coin within a few minutes of being someplace and then nothing the next two hours. It is a little frustrating because when I do find something nice and quick then I really slow down which in turn you would think that one would find more. So I feel your pain.
