Sunday AM Search W/Nuts

Just had to get out even though tides are all wrong and I new beaches would be picked over by the time I got there. Water was high and there were three other people working the beach. Less than a foot of wet sand to search.

My machine was acting weird (again). Seemed it did not like being one wet sand or salt water today. I kept getting way to much falsing. I hunt this beach often so know my settings. Nothing seemed to quiet it down but moving to dry sand.

DId manage one silver ring. Can not wait for this Thurs morning. Taking the day off work and will be out early AM to catch a -1.7 tide. Then Fri, Sat, Sun for more of the same.

Cool! That's one heck of a nice chunk of silver there. I love those big thick silver rings.

Me too Mike.

Got a lot of them here on two of the beaches as there are shops all alone the side streets that sell them.

But I do not have a little hulkie guy to display them

Money order for the machine went out late Sat. so I do not expect them to get it until Tuesday. They will ship then so say Fri. or Monday.

Thursday should start some interesting hunts. I plan on being out at 1 AM for a 4:20 low tide. Tide is going from 7.0 to -1.7. If the surf gods are really nice, they will have a nice waves at the 7.o mark to help with some nice cuts then calm down as we get near the -1.7. Got some long nights/early mornings coming up but I feel I will get that first really WOW ring this weekend.

Those blades are handed out at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. I as sure they are available everywhere tho.

Nice finds.
