Now ya gotta go and jinx the melt-down..... welcome to NE ohio, ya think after 50 yrs of this I'd finally just raise the white flag and surrender...................I WANNA HUNT WITH MY NEW SAFARI !!!!!!
Hey hey hey.....its been sun shinning for 3 straight days now here in Colorado and its actually melted most of the snow out here on the plains. Now its just mud and standing water....a couple more days of this and I might be dry enough to be able to actually swing a coil and do some digging....yahoooo......... And it just may be in 40 degree weather....... If I didnt know better I would say spring has about sprung....problem is.....this is colorado....and they says.....you might like one days weather but wait...tomorrows will be worse....or somethings like that. Will bust yore bubble.
I am waiting for June...for the water to warm up enough to go do some beach n lake diving...with my LS. Unless it warms up enough in May..then maybe May. But with the way globull warming is upon us...it will stay cold till July...... Sorry...I couldnt resist......
Always thought it was warm in Colorado except in the mountains.Well storm came here Friday and hasn't left yet in low 30 and snowing. No hunting have about a foot and half of snow.Hope you get out soon and post some pics.
I wish it was warm here all the time. We dont always have alot of snow, but we do get the cold, rain and wind. Lots of the latter. We are out on the high plains in the NE part of the state. We have had snow here as late as June before, and as early as late August/September. Last year we had our first frost the end of August, I think it was. Or could have been the first week of september. Dont remember for sure. We usually have alot of sun...I think the average is about 243 days a year on average. Unfortunately, the sun shinning doesnt always mean warm weather around here.
Today has turned out great though. Up around 45 and its great. Too muddy to get to where I would like to hunt, but am going to go out in the yard and just swing the coil and see what I can find. Ya never know .
