Sun Ray X-8 or SEF 10x12?

Which one is the better coil if you had to chose? I watched the treasure barrel youtube videos and the X-8 was equal to the pro-coil in depth. What about the 10x12 SEF in depth?
 
My SEF 10x12 runs super. I would say most of my large coppers are coming up from 6"-10" with ideal conditions. I have found quarters at 10"-14" on beach sand.
Good quality head set is a must for those faint high bips. I also dig everything that stays stable in both directions. The only draw back I have ever come across is
the weight. Have not used the other..!!
