How good are they in the trash? Anyone have this and how do they like it? I'm looking for a smaller coil for the trash parks. My birthday is in the spring and I might just have to buy myself a Present or two. Thanks Dan

its hard to take off

They are great in trash. I hit a merc at 6" with a AA battery 1" above it and a nail next to it. Is that good enough? You do have to work it slow but it will sniff them out.

dosnt it all ??

But it is a good enough coil that the cost can be recouped in a few good finds :detecting:

thats true too

How does this coil differ from a Excelerator eq2 pro?Ive had this coil for 2 years and still find coins mixed in with trash up to 9 -10 inches deep . rather faint sound tho. I hear that Sunrays are also very good too.

The X-5 is lightweight and offers superb seperation in trashy areas. This coil will find the good stuff other detectorists have left behind.
