Sun Ray Search Coils

Has anyone used the Sun Ray X-5 Search Coil: 5.5" Coil for their Minelab Explorer detector. It is supposed to work on the following explorer detectors: Sun Ray X-5 Search Coil: 5.5" Coil for Minelab E-Trac/Explorer (SE, II, XS & S) and the Safari. If so what did you like/dislike about the coil?

I'm very new to the Explorer forum, but if you look towards the top of the posts you will see a thread that offers a plethera of info on various coils by the moderator. He does and excellent job of explaining the pro's and cons of said coils on the Explorer, not to mention some nice finds to drool over.....

I hope to have an X-5 by mid-summer. But if you search through Bryce's posts about various coils he has tested, you will see that the X-5 gives positive results.

I just received a sun ray x5 coil from Bart last week and got to hunt a very trashy site that you usually have 3 targets under the coil on the pro coil so it made it very difficult to hunt there. But with the x5 i was able to ease through that area with no problem and pick out individual targets with ease. The depth was good for such a small coil and pin point was dead on.. So it gets a thumbs up from me.

Yes i have the x-5 and the x-12 they are awesome coils, what i like about my x-5 is its great in high trash areas, its deep, and just locks on to targets.But i use my x-12 95% of my searching its vary deep and has good ground coverage....

Just purchased my fist Explore SE PRO..going to dive into the minlab world, been told the sunray coils are fantastic...X5 might be my new adventure..I need something for trashy parks...its what I hunt alot at the moment. Thanks for the info.
