Sun Ray probe for Sovereign

Several years ago I traded into a GT with a Sun Ray probe. After using it for a while I put it away because it was so heavy. I have decided to make a new light weight shaft for it and sell the probe assembly. I don't want to ask too much for it but I want to get what it is worth. Can someone give me an idea of its value. I also would like to find a "V" clip for the new shaft so I don't have to use the one on the original shaft. I have searched the web but it seams the clip is unobtainable. Any help would be appreciated.

Dig it all, probably around $100.00 for the S-1 probe.Maybe someone has an extra V clip to help you out.Good Luck Ron

The S-1 for the Sovereigns are no longer being made and there is quite a few that just love them as they are great probe and probably the best pin pointer for the Sovereigns, I know I would be lost without mine and know I wouldn't find many of the targets I do now. I have seen used ones go as high as $150 that are like new and some as low as $50. I had a brand new still in the bag for the older Sovereigns and put it on E-Bay and it sold for $100 and wish I would have kept it now. If you have one for the GT the switching box sits on top of the shaft and the meter will sit above the switching box, the older one sat below the shaft and were for the Original, the XS,XS2 and the XS2a.
The V clips are no longer being made and with luck maybe one of the dealer still has some left, but know I sold all my new one and have a few on the older shaft for the XS series shafts I have laying around.
