Many worry about buying differnt coils right away, but understandig your detector should be your first priority and the Sunray in Line probe makes finding the target so easy plus fast and feels it shortens the learning curve. This probe has depth unlike most of the others as you will get a signal when you get within 3 inches of the target, not 1/2 inch like many. Now with the reduced price on probably the best headphone with the purchase of a inline probe as I just finished up a side my side comparrison with the Sunrays and 3 of the top brands and found they all are good and one set was louder than the Sunrays, but for tone quality on my Explorer the Sunrays were the best. For comfort the Sunrays were the best in my opinion of the test I did on diffent object and tones.
Now you can get the in line probe which is the best plus a set of the best headphones for less then many are spening for a coil that will not help you learn you detector as much as the probe and headphones will.
Check it out by those that have the inline SunRay probe or the new Sunray headphones, they will tell you they wont detect without them.
