Summertime headphones:cry:

I've been using grey ghosts, but they are so dang hot!! What is a good, lightweight headphone? Also on a side note....for some reason my grey ghosts quit working with my Vaquero but still work in my other machines, other headphones still work in the Vaquero:shrug:

The most popular headphones for summer use over here in the UK are the XP wired backphones, the sound quality is ultra good especially for such a cheap pair of headphones.I would assume that they are available across the pond but they are the most popular ones over here.

Hope this is of some help.

I use earpods with a volume control slider for dirt hunting. I still wear headphones at the beach because of the wave noise and people tend to leave you alone. But your right. It gets hot. Mini breaks and plenty of fluids. Being a pirate is hard work.

Koss PortaPro. Not quite as good as Grey Ghosts but they are decent headphones that are comfortable in warm weather. I use them with a Koss 20 volume control and 1/8" to 1/4" adapter plug.

Flip the toggle switch... my grey ghosts have a toggle switch next to the volume knob which must be switched into other position to work with other machines...

Hi,
I use a pair of Sony MDR XB-300
They are light, very well cushioned and not hot around the ears at all.
I also like the fact that they do not have that heavy stiff curly cord.
And they are affordable, to boot.
