Hey Everyone,
A happy and cool summer to you all.
Hot, extremely humid here.

Havent been out detecting too much lately.(heat and whatever else).
The last weeks have had a couple fruitless hunts.

Actually been out riding the bicycle around town,
locating potential and rediscovering places to detect.
This past weekend as jazzed about gettin out saturday,
exited the house late and so managed another bike ride.
Sunday ventured to an old school discovered by bicycle the day before,
and recalled from a 25year past visit with Dad.
Two and half hours, a handful of newer clads and it was time,
time to retrace the bike ride to another school only to end up in a small pecan tree grove,
next to a park. Ding,......Ding,....Ding, Ding. Ding, Ding.
First coin dug is an two inches deep 19O1 green crusted Barber dime.

Also harvested was a 1919 wheat cent.
Enjoy the pics and Happy Hunting!

Thanks for looking and the comments!

Bicycling is a hobby that is a lot of fun but can be dangerous especially on the roadways.
If any of you folks do dust off and drag out that old pedal masher please be safe about it.
Always make sure your bike is in good repair and roadworthy.
Wear a helmet and clothing that you will be seen.
Be aware of your surroundings (no headphones) and make eye contact with other motorists.
Try to ride on traffic light and wide shouldered roads as much as possible.
Ride with traffic not against. Pass on the left and dont weave in traffic.
Adhere to a few of the basics and you will be well on your way to another degree of fun, fitness, and discovery.
Be cool.
Coils to the soils.
Rubber down.

Nice hunts!:detecting:Great clad haul!:clapping:Congrats on the silver!:cheers:That's awesome!:thumbup:Thanks for sharing!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)
