Summer Camp Detecting

Detected a Summer Camp that was started in 1943. Over a 100 hundred acres of virgin land, and let me tell you it is definetly virgin. There were 4 of us hunting this camp and we all found good stuff. One guy got a 1933 Cuban Peso, it is a big piece of silver. Also some Silver nickels were found. Lots of dimes and quarters found. We barely touched the land. Gonna have to hit it a lot more this winter before camps start up again. So I found these silvers and 15 wheaties. and about $10 something in clad.

That's a great day in my book!

That was all found in one day?

Yes all in one day. This place is amazing. We barely touched the place.

Heck, at that rate of silver...camp out - LOL! Summer camps are really great (you know that now). I've done a couple, wish there was Internet back then.

Thanks guys!!!

If you can get the permission then I say go for it. These camps can produce some great stuff. Next time I go back I will be gridding off certain areas and taking my time and try to cover most of the ground. Last weekend I was moving fast from one place to another just to cover ground.

It looks like you've got a great spot to hunt! That should keep you busy for a while!
