Suggestions on storing batteries for the winter?

Greetings. Any suggestions on how to properly store rechargeable detector batteries for the winter? Thanks in advance. HH. Matt

I'd say just fully charge them, and store them somewhere that's neither too warm or too cold. They don't get any special treatment while on store shelves. Of course remove them from the detector (and any battery holder they may fit in inside the detector, in the event of leakage).

I'd treat them like I would a car battery, charge them once a week or so.
