Suggestions on Scoops??

Anyone have any suggestions on scoops, I was kinda leaning toward gettin a stainless steel scoop.
Do these cut through the dirt any better than an aluminum.
The one I have now is aluminum 5" wide * 7" deep.
Back in the summer when I actually tried water huntin, trying to dig a target was pretty hard to do with the sand refilling the hole.
So, I was thinking I needed something bigger too.

I have this one and it works great. Not too heavy. The only thing I'm going to add is a foam padding in the center for when its on my shoulder.
