Is anyone having alot of success with the 3000 XD, I really like mine and wanted to know if everyone is having the same success.

I love my Titan 3000XD. It performs as well as any of the competitive MDs, I particularly like the accuracy of the pin pointer. The depth capabilities are excellent as well. I have all three coils and the 4 inch one is superb. I have found coins as deep as 7 inches with it. This unit outperforms many of the big name single frequency Detectors. I finally got the ground balance working well for me. With the ground balance adjusted properly the 8 inch coil finds dimes down to about 9 inches. All in all a great detector.

You have found coins at 7" with the 4"coil??? That is quite outstanding!!!...I have never found anything below 5 inches with it so far...

My 4 inch coil is the Titan 450. It has found me a quarter at 7 inches give or take a half inch. The conditions were perfect for detecting. The ground was wet but not muddy. The soil did not need any manual ground balancing. I find aluminum cans at 6 inches regularly. In fact I like this coil so much I want to use it often even though I am not working a lot full of junk.. The only thing is it slows you down compared to a 8 inch coil. I use it a lot at tot lots but most of the finds are less than 4 inches. Take care and keep in touch.
