Don't overlook your own yard just because your house is only 15 or 20 years old. Remember that before your house was built there was something there. In my case there was a farm from the 1700's to about 1960, when the subdivision was built. Go to your public library and look to see if there are any historic maps of your town.

I found all of these with a whites PRL1 industial MD, which is designed for finding property stakes. I cannot wait to use my Garrett to see what lies beneath! The sleigh bell is a No. 6 and dates to the mid 1800's, the tag is a dog license from 1967.
