I am finding that my V3i has a lot of modulation not a crisp tone on coins. I am trying to see if I can get it to sound like some of the other detectors I have used. My Rx is low maybe 5-8 and I have played with my filters and RD..is there something I am missing?
 
Do you have modulation off? If so, could you explain what you mean by modulation?
