Stumbled upon a nest of coins...

HUnted a couple of playgrounds yesterday. The second one is a small playground ( about 30' x30' ) that I haven't hit in a couple of years or so. The playground in general didn't give up much other than a dime and a penny but the former hunters forgot one spot.

There was one of those square, wooden, structures with elevated platforms and slides and ladders attached. In the center of this structure was a square area about 6'x6'. I just ducked my head and entered this area and on the first pass with the Feller it went nuts with multiple signals, signals on top of signals, weak signals, weak pinpoint. I started isolating and digging. The bark chips were old and packed hard and I had to dig down at least eight inches for all of these coins. These coins were all in an area of about three feet in diameter. Thought I never would stop digging.

The silver dollar token from a casino across the river in Washington along with a couple of the coins were found at another spot. All the rest were found inside that playground structure. From the condition of the coins they have been there a few years and the corrosion resulted in some strange signals and weak signals.
