Struck two gold today.

I drove a lot around in order to find a target i didn't alreay hunted over and over last fall. First stop was a very small lake. More like a pool made of sand than a lake! I hunted the place in the past and never got any gold. Just a few coins here and there, but it's not so far from home, so why not ?

Well the place proved me wrong ! After a few minutes, i struck a nice 10K wedding band. Then 30 minutes later came the second band. About 7 grams for the two rings. But the signals were gone and it was time to hit an other site... and an other and an other... Those were the two single gold of the day. Only managed to get a silver toe ring and kids rings. Got about 11$ in change.

Last friday i only got the small one with the blue stone and the small silver ring. Right now, i'm pretty clueless as to where to go next. I'll probably dry hunt for relics anyway... i'll bring both detectors tomorrow and hope for the best.

So far i'm up to gold 11 this season. Take out the 4 coming from the dominican republic vacations, that leaves 7 gold in 3 water hunts... not bad at all! Will the rest of the season be the same ? Geee I'll really have to find other virgin swim holes !
