Today I hunted an old "hunted out" park. For the first few hours I only found newer coins. Then I went to an area where there were some huge old trees. I got a good signal and dug up a 1905s Barber Dime that was buried 5 or 6 inches in the ground. Soon after that I got another good signal and dug a sterling silver thimble that was about 8 or 9 inches down. This is the first silver I've found with my new E-trac. It was also my fourth time out hunting with it. The first few hunts were learning experiences where I was mostly trying to figure this machine out. I had issues with pinpointing, but now it's not a problem at all. It's just a matter of learning. And this is my first Minelab detector and my first detector with a double-d coil. It's different than the Whites, Fisher and Garrett detectors I've used in the past. The more I use this detector, the more I like it! In regard to the silver I found today, I'd just like to say, "Yeeaaahhhhooooooo!!!!!!!"
