Straps for AT Pro

Do you mean to support the detector? Like this: www.ebay.com/itm/181132423520 ???

Yes, but I was thinking something like the straps you put on guitars - like a sling but that Detetor Buddy looks pretty good. Thanks!

You can also make one out of a nylon dog leash. Get one that's about your height, put the handle loop around the control box, fasten the loop closed with electrical tape, and put the fastener end around your neck and close it around the leash wherever it gives you the right amount of support. It's not bad for level areas like parks and schools. I didn't find the leash that useful on more rugged terrain, though. I may try the Detector Buddy at some point.

Some guys use the large backpack Garrett sells and just carry the spare or the one in there for hunting far away places.

This sounds interesting but I would need to see it. I'm a visual person. LOL

Search You tube for

How and why to strap your metal detector

You will see how to use the dog leash

Great - I'll check it out! Thanks!

I bought one called the Limbsaver from Kellyco, one of the sponsors on this forum and I really like it. If you're a diy person and the idea about the dog leash works for you, go for it. I wanted something I could use in a hurry and I still use it everytime I go detecting in the water and on land.
