Strange things kids say about us detecting

While metal detecting in a tot lot I have had some kids come up to me and ask me funny questions.

One kid came up to me and Asked me " Does that thing make the sand softer for my feet"

Another kid came up to me and asked me " will that thing electrocute me if I get too close"

Had a kid, not ask, but tell me I was stupid because the motor wasn't running

was detecting one day and a young boy asked me why i was weed wacking with the weed wacker turned off lol.

i had a similar thing like that happen to me 1 barberbill , i was detecting on the park i live on the border beetween us. and mexico , and some punks kids stared telling me that i was poor , so 1 of dam throw a penny at me almost hit me in the eye i done think he wanted to hit me, but i caught up to him know im an ex infantry marine i caught up to him and slap him 2 ,but since he was a minour , 5 mins later comes 2 police cars but since the ferry was real close i yes jump on the rope and al ass into mexico good thing my detector dint fall lol
