Strange thing happend on V3

It may be in the manual but I just havent looked. I was detecting the other day and I was going over an iffy target and the vdi #s in the upper left hand corner
of the search screen said (++) just for a split second. It never did it again but I was just wondering what this is as is it normal?

It's a computer and, as such, may be subject to aberrant behavior. Reproducible results...that's the ticket.

My guess it is as normal as the V locking up. I wouldn't worry as it may never happen again but it is not in the manual or at least I never saw it. I had a certain color combination, screen setup, live screen, on and on. Every time I readjusted the discrimination it would lock. After that none of us could just get the sequence right again to make it repeat and it has never happened again. Strange combination's can produce strange outcomes with complicated electronics. Thanks...I didnt think it was anything to worry about, I have been using the V for a year now and I had never seen that before...and maybe never again.

Magic I had that last Sunday over here. I had around 10 of them and then 10 question marks. We put it down to the power lines over head. This is because as soon as I moved away from them, normal service was resumed !!
