Strange outing this morning

Went to the lawn around one of the elementary schools and dug 38 coins. Not one was deeper than about two inches and they were mostly from the 60's and 70's. Not one silver nor a wheatie. All clad but mostly 40 to 50 years old and all shallow. I never had anything quite like that before. The lawn must have been releveled and resodded about then. Not really imprtant buit I thought it was strange that not one of them was deeper than 2 inches.
