A friend of mine, (who is a member here but wishes to remain incognito) found this "grill" amongst a lot of trash in a local park. Looks like the front end of a 53 Buick Roadmaster to me, gotta love it........

Don't know about your buddy's toothie find, but the picture of the Buick brings back fond memories. My parents had a "54" Buick Roadmaster with the exact same color scheme, it was a wonderful car and built like a tank...

Anybody with a mouth as full of gold as that probably talked alot of trash while wearing that thing.... A great find, however!!!

About 10 years ago I happened to see a newer car hit a Buick Roadmaster head on at about 10 mph. The little economy car's hood was bent up to look like an inverted, "V" and the left front fender was all crumpled up. The Buick...The left front side of the massive bumper was slightly tweaked back, and that was it!!!. True story. Ahhhh...I can remember when the sound when you shut the doors on those babies.

I have found similar "grilles" at a local school yard....more money than sense in my opinion....
Baggins
