Hello ALL!

I was out digging in a private yard today and had an unusual find...

These appear to be real coins... the 1947 5 Franc is an Aluminum coin...

I also dug a 1945 Mercury... 6 Wheat's '20S, '30, '40, '44, '44D, & '54 - There is also a 1951 Canadian Penny... and some clad...

That give me a total of 51 Wheats for the year and 14 silver... I know I know... that would be a slow day for CaptSE Dan :)

What do you have of the tag with the number 1203 ??

Thx for looking... Happy hunting!

Unusual. I wonder what it was made for???? Pretty cool!

cool finds, but that is one heck of a hole there :surprised: I would think a homeowner would have a heart attack if I dug a hole like that in their yard.

It was 4 plugs and looked pristine when I put it all back in :)

She is my direct supervisor and director... so I made sure it all looked like no one had been there :)
