Strange find yesterday

Uncle Terry

New member
uncle terry's lost and found treasures
Found this strange little piece yesterday It has a little bit of weight to it, Its 1 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide. I found it near my house, the property used to be a small horse ranch and dairy farm, all the buildings except a small barn are left. Its now a county mobile home park

A lot of folks don't/wont click on links to see pics for fear/security.
That said I'm dumb enough to look....

Something to show it's size and cleaning it up a bit better would help.
So it looks like there might have been a small ring on the right side about 2 o'clock.
Maybe there is also one at 11 o'clock.
If there are these attachments then I'm thinking it is a pendant.
I don't think I can see any attachments on the back, so I'm not thinking pin..

Zero Idea, but that is a cool find, and my $ is on that it is old and kinda looks to be plated--------Nice One----------GH-----------------after1------------

I believe what you found is a depiction of a Aztec Eagle Warrior.
Aztec Eagle warriors were an elite infantry comprised of pre-Hispanic noblemen.
here is a ceramic example of an Aztec Eagle warrior

Very cool find !

I think you may have solved the mystery. Now I wonder how it got all the way up hear in the panhandle of Northern Idaho.?

It looks to be plated pot metal and was probably a tourist trinket from Mexico........... Sharper pictures of the front and back would tell us more.
