Strange Coin:wacko:

BadaBing

New member
This coin was recovered in Rhode Island along with 5 more of the same coins in the remains of what might of been a sack of some sort. The date is 1715. I have looked everywhere for info on the coin and I can't find anything. Any help would be great.

Track down Bill Ladd, I believe he's a moderator on one of the forums here and has seen many coins come out of the New England soil. Outstanding finds! Congrats.

Is the coin silver or other metal ?
No other numbers on the coin and latin writing (coin token ?)
