This was my only good find today. Hunted a ghost town from the oil boom days.
 
Nice/different token find.
 
Thats cool way to go, Great find tokens are hard to find that one is very unique HH
 
That's a great find. It may be a rare one, the closest I could find on tokencatalog.com was this one:
" TC-94950; TX1979 *** rare "
which was good for "One 20c Gallon", photo needed. Matagorda, TX.

I contacted the county museum in Matagorda County to see what they know.
 
I haven't found info on this one yet, other than what's on it. It does appear to be pewter.
 
I would rather find a cool old token than a pocket full of clad any day. It`s always exciting to find something that you can research the history of....nice job!
 
That would make my day. I keep 3 reference books on tokens, they are some of the best finds to research.
