Stop eating my Pine Trees!!!!

These cows belong to my father's neighbor, and are in a 10 acre lot the neighbor rented adjacent to his property. Along about 100 feet of my father's side of the fence are some pine trees. Every winter one or two fall down, but this year none have. As you can see from the photos, my cousin and I had some fun hand feeding them a few months ago.... much to the disliking of my father. :) The first two photos are of a juvenile(?) cow, while the third is of what I presume is its mother. The cows seemed to really love digging into the pine trees and munching on them till they were bare. The good news is that the other sides of the trees are doing just fine.:smoke:

have never missed a meal. These are nice pictures, thanks for sharing! Kelley (Texas) :)

There's something about cows that I love. Maybe it's because when I was old enough to hold a bucket or bottle, I would feed the little calves at my aunt and uncle's farm. Thank you for the picture AND the memories.
