Hope to share pics and stories, Did not start off using Tesoro, but once I did they became my favorite. and I am so waiting for that Cazador.

Insidious light weight little things, aren't they?
Most of us that own them aren't addicted to them in any way...we can stop using them anytime we want to.
We just don't want to.

Welcome!

So true, I love the V3I that i have but, I can not swing it very long and it is well balanced. But weight is weight. Truth be known I don't find any more with it, it just more to look at.

Good example, IMO, of the fact that ultimately, all any detector really does is inform you that there's metal under the coil - after that it's up to you.

yea those micro max housed detectors are hard to put down once you use them because of the simplicity, lightweight and performance. I remember when they first came out some people thought they looked like a toy because they were so SMALL... how could they be that effective? Just look how through the years cell phones have gotten smaller and better...I think Tesoro hit a "home run" when they introduced the small lightweight yet still powerful metal detectors ahead of the competitors!

thanks, just waiting out the weather now, and researching some new sites.

I totally agree with you Texadillo. You hit the nail on the head with that one.
