Stolen Vision

Will White's be able to return a stolen Vision to the orginial owner thur the registration information?

Oh shit. Forgive my french, but $1600 doesn't come easy to me and you must be feeling the same way.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know, but suspect White's will be able to help you recover it if they turn it in to be fixed. I'd post the S/N here just in case someone tries to sell it on findmall.

Hope you have a back up MD until your other is returned.

Again, sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hope it is returned soon.

Now it's time to go to bed and hope I don't dream of someone stealing the Vision that I don't have yet.

Take care

The way I understand it Dave is that if a returned unit's registered owner is not the one who sent it in, the registered owner is notified at the registered address and phone #. If the two names and addresses don't match up you better have a good story.

When you embed your name in the software, be sure to write down the password and DO NOT keep it in the battery compartment or anywhere with the Vision. That password is the only way you can change the Owners name without sending it in with proof of ownership.

Another great idea from White's.....

Idaho-Marke Not to worry I haven't received mine yet. I was just thinking that if Police recover stolen property from a thief, White's could use the registration info to locate the owner. Of course it would probably have to spend a couple years in the evidence room first.
Thanks Idaho
Thanks Larry
