Stock verses 5.75 coil

I read a lot of posts about using a smaller coil in trashy areas. Target separation, target masking, lower disc settings etc.
Instead of using the smaller coil in trashy areas use the stock coil for more coverage. Set the disc to iron and dig everything that repeats. Mind you, this would be at an old site where anything found would likely be old!

In some sites your suggesting will work, but I have many sites that are so loaded with iron that I could not possibly dig it all. At sites like that, you may want the option of a smaller coil. Fewer targets under the coil at any given time allows you the ability to find some of those goodies amongst the iron.

Thanks Scully.
Oh, by the way I really like the digger I got from you.
Hopefully I won't have to buy any more small shovels for a while.

I used several other diggers before I finally got the Lesche. Now I wont go anywhere without it. It is surprising how much leverage that right angle bend gives you when you have a deep target in the hole.
