Stock Koss Headphone Issue

Just wondering if anyone else out there is having a problem with the stock Koss headphoness that come with the CTX. Mine seem to be ruined where the plug meets the wire. The whole time I use the CTX that wire is always bent right after the plug for how I use the detector. I feel if the CTX came with headphones that have an "L" shaped plug this problem wouldnt have happened. I am going to have to call Koss and see what they can do, I guess. But until this problem gets solved I am going to have to use the external speaker which isnt the best to use if you want to hear those faint iffy signals.

Does anyone else have any issues?

Mine just failed this week. My dealer says that Minelab should replace them but he's checking. They are good headphones but yes the wire is pretty flimsy at the plug.

mine lasted for 5 hunts they replaced mine and the are still in the bag. You might as well upgrade sunrays work well

You can put a right angle plug on it yourself for a few bucks, but I solved the problem with SunRay Golds...........
