Anyone have a good handle on the differences between the 2 programs. I have been using a modified version of the coin prgram. Today , I tried the silver program and found drastically different IDs for silvers, especially older ones . Anyone have any insite on this matter? Thanks, Mike

Stock coin VS Silver program

Yes, there is a differnce. The stock coin has "High Trash" separation, where the silver program has "Ferrous Coin" separation.
If you go to the CTX 3030 Resource center, there is a topic which shows the different ID's for each search program.

I use them both at the old fairgrounds we go to. Lots of trash. I make a pass with coins and then go over the same ground with silver. It produces a few more times than you would think.
