Stingray update

Didn't get to any water after work. I did stop by a volley ball court at a local park. Wanted to use this chance to play with the ground balance since my manual ground balance on the F75 has me spoiled compared to the Stingray's method.

After I got it to give me a nice threshold hum in all metal I proceed into the sand. Boys I had read that this machine was sensitive to small items but come on now

I was finding these were so small that it had me super charging the Pro point just to find it. But aside from some of the crazy small iron and a tiny rhine stone. The stingray found its first silver, a small hoop earring, nothing amazing but I'll take silver in any amount :D

Hope this is a sign of things to come in the water.

Congrats on the silver! Smalll indeed! You may need a sifter! Beale.

Beale your right a sifter would have been handy. I may need to pick up one of those at the store just for hitting up the dry sand locations.

I have added a fine screen to the bottom of the scoop and a strong magnet zip tied to the side. That made worlds of difference to recovering those pain in the butt bobby pins. Though some of the little bits I recovered yesterday would have only stayed in the scoop if the magnet had caught them.
