I shipped him my GTI 2500 and we were hoping he'd receive it today. I even was waiting on shipment of the first Gold Nuggets finds today But I haven't heard from him yet!
The suspense is killing both of us, He can't wait to get out there detecting and learning that GTI. He's seasoned hunter with Mine Labs under his belt but I know he'll have some questions for us GTI hunters..
I don't know who's waiting for the Postie with more expectation, You or Me??????? I waited patiently all day yesterday and it didn't arrive, It's 10.30am Thursday morning right now and still no sign
When it does arrive, I'll still have to teach myself how to drive it, so I might be too busy digging up all those gold rings and gold sovereigns and all that trivial stuff to go and get some Aussie gold for you.
So I'm not so patiently, sitting on my hands

Well...We need to find out what's up with them guys we paid good money for a date of delivery....Let me know tomorrow if you didn't recieve I'll call somebody on this end!
Not sure what we can do, but we should be able to get some information from someone as we insured the shipment as well!
I am disappointed, I was really hoping your detector would arrive today the 16th.
I tend to think it has had a bit of a hold up along the way also because I have traced it via the tracking system and apparently it arrived at our beloved Australian "Foreign Customs" Department at 2.32pm Yesterday 16/05/2007, so by the time they do all their usual things that have nothing to do with their duties they might get around to clearing in their own good time.
I think it will probably be wise to very patiently "Sit on my hands" until they get of their ????? and let it go through to the Postal system. The last thing I want is those "Little Gods" getting stroppy and holding it up any longer because I think they are a law unto themselves and if we question them, who knows what might happen. I doubt if there will be any problems, but I think it's possibly their standard procedure and it's just that we are expecting them to keep to the timetable and delivery time that they said they would deliver it, that we are disappointed. With all fingers crossed I hope to get it tomorrow so I can try it over the weekend.

I have some good news, I have received one box of the 2 box consignment. The box I have is the one with the coils etc, so the box with the detector etc is still on it's way. It is a pretty good guess that the other box will be in Monday's delivery. (I hope)
I"ll report on any progress when there is some more good news.

Got the first box of the 2 box consignment last Friday and the second box with the main parts of the detector have arrived today (Monday) 11 days after Ted posted it, So much for paying the highest rate and for Global Express. Ironically I received a parcel (Also from USA) which was dispatched on the same day as the detector boxes, last Thursday, one day before the first of these!!!! (Via Global express.) Ted told me as he had been told, that I would receive the consignment on last Wednesday the 16th of May (Today is the 21st May) No fault at all or in any way of Ted's just our very bloody sloppy postal systems, although I think it is mainly the fault of Australia Post. I'm quite disgusted and very annoyed with our not so good Postal service.I intend letting them know about it too, although I wont hold my breath waiting for a reply!!!!!
All I have to do now is put it together and nut out how to fly it, Wish me luck.
