Still trying to figure out the ATX

I have had the ATX for a couple of weeks now and have taken it salt water hunting 7 times so far. I usually hunt with an Excalibur and an Infinium with great success. I found a silver bracelet on one hunt and two platinum rings on another hunt. I usually have good odds of finding gold atleast 7 out of 10 hunts I will find gold but so far with the ATX I am 2 for 7. I purchased the ATX to give me atleast a slight advantage in depth over my other units in the water but so far I am not convinced that I am getting any deeper with the ATX. I am going to do some comparison test with the ATX and Excalibur this weekend and report back.

Probably just haven't put your coil over any gold. Sounds like you're doing well with it.

I have tried the zero ground balance in the dry sand and it is stable enough to hunt but I tried the zero ground balance in the water but the unit was way
unstable even after tuning the sensitivity way down.
