Still Searching....

Got out a bit this afternoon at the area where the Civil War US Cavalry Bit boss was found. Still searching for more possible camp relics. Today turned up two post Civil War bullets- one is a .17(?) and .22, some buckshot, impacted lead ball(?), two mystery brass items, and a 1913 Barber Dime. The dime was found at 8''+. My new Garrett Pro Pointer really helped out today.

Hopefully an eagle button or minie ball turns up next time!

Any ideas about these items? The larger piece has a crimped end with brass wire bristles inside and smaller hole on the back end.

It could be the terminal end of a battery cable with the spade terminal broken off. The crimping sort of looks like the way a battery cable might be terminated.
