Still popping surprises from Dad's old park - hunt #11

Got out to Dad's old park again last week. I hit a pocket - a fairly small area that seemed to produce a better concentration of finds (most fairly deep).
I was surprised to find an 1838 LC at about 4 inches ! Other finds: two IH 1888 & 1904, thirteen wheats includind 1910 & (BRYCE CHECK THIS) - three 1918s !!
Also two Mercs 1939 & 1943. Other items included an American Heroes Admiral Dewey 25c play money and a small Mary & Jesus figure.
(Sorry for the picture quality on the coins) This park has produced a pretty good variety of keepers and I'm not even done with the first complete sweep.
I'm interested to see what the 6" DD will do in the best productive or trashier areas, but I probably won't get to that till the fall

Nice finds Bruce! Would be fun to hook up with you at some point as we're not too far away. Gotta be a lot of good stuff between our locations!

Gosh!! A large cent at 4". :yo: That's a fantastic park.

Congrats on your finds. Should be plenty more to come.

wow,congrats those are great!

Nice finds Bruce....keep 'em coming.

Congrats on those 1918's too:angel:

PS: Clean that place out good and proper...then pop that little 6" Excelerator on...and I think you'll sniff out a few more keepers:clapping:

It's one of my all time favorite coils.

Jack up the sensitivity on it (It'll handle it:thumbup:)...and creep like a snail...and it will probably work some magic.
