I am going to wait for a friend of mine to come over and find out if his acts the same way I tried the battery trick it didn't work.If his proves mine to be working wrong the it is a trip off to Minelab....Thanks for all the input.
 
Put a small secret mark somewhere on the box or screen. Might help in identifing if you get the same one back, or if they did anything to it at all. Sorry I am just a parnoid dude.
