Still in the front yard :detecting:

Went back last night to the house that produced the Walker a couple of days ago and spent some more time in the front yard ONLY! This time I started at the end of the driveway and quickly found two Wheats in the same hole - almost didn't dig the signal since it was slightly elongated...but Im glad I did! Slowly worked up the driveway and changed Reactivity to 2, Silencer to 1, and Sens remained at 85. Ive gone over most of the front sidewalk area with Reac = 3 and Silencer = 1 for increased target separation but this time I was after the deeper coins, if any were living there. Got a slightly scratchy "87" and found a zincoln and 1962 Rosie in the same hole and not three feet away got a nice "91-92" which turned out to be the 1946 Quarter at 6" depth. I was charged at that point and, although it was past midnight and I had to work the next day (today) I decided to press on for another 30 minutes (love the clock in the display screen by the way!)

Crossed the sidewalk back to where I found the Walker but changed back to Reactivity of 3 and Silencer of 1. Got a moderate signal of "83" and dug 6" deep to find nothing...then got a hit in the sidewall which turned out to be a war nickel! Reswept the hole to find the "83" still sounding off clearly! Scratching my head at this point I took the war nickel and passed it near the coil and NOTHING. Not even a peep...I forgot that I had earlier notched out 58-64 at the farigrounds because of all the brass lightbulb bases that I was finding and didn't think to "unnotch" the program for hunting these cleaner rental properties! So another weirdo war nickel found its way home which indicated at "60" - but the credit goes to the Garrett ProPointer for that find! The "83" didn't fail to impress with being a 1956 D Wheat! I'll take em all day long!

Ended the hunt on a great note finding a 1959 Rosie at 5" deep and a 1936 Merc inches away at roughly the same depth. I was so stoked from the hunt that I couldn't get to sleep until 230 or so!!! Going back tonight for more silver!!! :clapping:

You are knocking them dead at those rental properties . . . hope your silver streak continues!

Best of luck - some great finds lately!

Well CZ, I am seriously gonna give Coinrelic a run for sure, might need to mod it for the Arizona dirt, but it sure seems to do the job up your way!

Great finds and thank you for the detailed post, it helps all of us when we can see what thinga are ringing at....
