Still Hitting the Silver. Hope it Never Ends.

Went out today with the E-Trac and had more fun. A place that had coins on the ground in the grass actually. Picked up the ones I knew were quarters and ones I thought were dimes. A few pennies decided to be dimes but that was okay, still had fun guessing before digging.

Then of course there was some deeper coins. a few of the quarters I thought were deep enough to be silver but that was not to be. Only two lonely mercs were to be found.

6 quarters, 7 clad dimes, and a few houses. Two mercs (41 and 42) and 8 wheat's were the good coins.

Excellent !

One merc was a good 10 inches. The other was shallower maybe 6 BUT the first target I found in the hole was a military 30 carbine shell. I am positive it was masking the dime. This park has been hammered hard.

Thanks for the replies. Going out today to see if my streak continues

Ditto to what iron said:)

I just have learned to forget the numbers. I listen for the sounds and that is about it. Screw caps are the only problem children I seem to have to deal with but I can accept that.
