Still Having Sniper Fun......

Spanky

New member
I've been pretty busy lately and never got around to posting some photos so here goes...
The 550 nailed another silver ring. Everything was nailed with the sniper coil in blechers..... first photo is one of the blechers I've been hunting. Dates on the photo were the days I went coin poping.Still not done yet I'll keep you posted.

Cheers!

Wow! Did you ever clean up. Ever tried those bleachers with a stock coil? It is a lesson in frustration, as the coil is always sounding off and most of the coins get masked by all the metal struts.

...coil for the 250. Where can I buy one?

That's the kinda places the Sniper coil really shines and evidenced by those piles of coins and ring you got. Nice bunch of loot. Now I gotta ask, how many times did you hit your head on those bleachers? Every time I've hunted some, I bang my noggin a bunch!!

full of bumps I lost count how many times I wacked my head.By back and knees were killing me as well. From the photo its not very high but man oh man is each section ever loaded. From the photo the real choice spot is the brown spot of grass on the back of the blechers. I posted a photo earlier Dec. 29 or 30? that showed my easy pickings that day which was around $12.00. There are so many coins underneath the blechers I spent all my time squatting and digging...must of sure looked funny if someone was watching. I guess people avoid checking these out because of the effort.I'm hoping to get at it one more time this week to finish it off.

Cheers!

stock coil would have been unreal. What the photo does not show is the steel buried in the ground that connects the bottom legs. I just bought the sniper for my 550 knowing this would be the place to go. I just had no idea it was that good. I pulled two rings out of this blecher so far. I still have another place in town that has the same style which I gotta check out.
I've noticed you have done very well with your sniper as well !

Cheers!

thing. When climbing under the blechers shorten up on the length of the metal detector so you can manipulate it easier.Heck I went under with the full length originally and was to excited to stop and adjust it. I was cursing myself after awhile though becauseI kept wacking my hand in to the steel...haha.

Cheers!

...in that they are the "open" type. More and more of the ones I see, and the ones around here, are of the "closed" variety. By "closed", I mean there has been a section added to bridge the vertical gap between the rear of the seat portion and the foot section - undoubtedly to foil detectorists, since set up that way, nothing can fall through to the ground below!

I shall persevere, however and keep my eye out for the open types. Besides, you did mention that the spot at the rear directly below the top seating section produces well. Now to find me a sniper coil...

I've thought about wearing my hardhat, but couldn't get my headphones on with it on, so I guess it's more bumps the next time I hunt some bleachers.
