Out this afternoon for nearly 2 hours.....a bit of a north wind, not too cool and it's a blessing that we have no snow yet. I got a pile of loot, a bullet and a ring. If you don't dig those penny signals, you don't get a lot of silver and copper rings.

here's the best of the hunt. That ring, although a real mess when I found it, cleaned up nicely using my tool, a buffing wheel with some jeweler's rouge.
 
Good stuff. Not many days here neither left.
 
Nice finds on the ring and I found a busted shell casing for a 38 caliber bullet Sunday. It must have busted when the bullet was fired.
It was 37 degrees in my city this am and I thought I would be able to get in a couple hours of dirt fishing before I took Mama to her appointment, but I got up with a swollen shoulder and I'm taking it easy. Saturday is probably the only day I might get to go this week and I hope I find something good to post. HH.
