Went back to same School Yard we hit last Saturday, and hunted for 3 hours...Could not find one Wheat, but did manage a nice Art Carved Aylmer Tungsten Carbide 8mm Men's Wedding Band...It weighs in just shy of 1/2oz (.48oz), and I looked it up on their website...Worth $485 list, and on sale for $380 currently (no identifying marks for an owner)...:detecting: :whites: :hot:...
Found 32 coins totaling $3.32 (oldest: 1964 nickel and 1966 Quarter), another JUNK ring, and a shell earring that is also junk...
I thought the one nickel was cute...You say your name is Jefferson, Whiteface??? Me no need your wampum...Me have RING!!!

M6 or MXT Pro...I am on my way....

HH,

GoGoGopher,
Congrats on the finds.
By the way, do you still have the QXT for sale. I responded to your for sale post.
This looked newer.
Thx
Joey
PS I have been out of it for 6yrs now and want to get back to it.

Nice ring GoGo! All that diggin finally paid off.....you earned it!

Keep on dancin' and HH.

Well, seems Tungsten has NO resale value in my area...No Jewelers even want to look at it...You can not resize Tungsten...If you try, you will shatter the ring...The thing can take quite a beating against a metal pole though...I purposely banged the crud out of it on a metal pole...Showed signs of metal transfer, but I buffed the ring on a green 3M pad, and you could never tell it had been slammed against anything...Darn thing is near scratch proof...But hit it with a hammer just right, or squeeze it in a vise, and it shatters like glass...
Guess I will throw it up on the General merchandise forum or try to sell it on Craigslist or something...

HH,

[attachment 206973 100_04051077x808.jpg]HEy GGG I found a Tungsten ring also and your right a jewleler or pawn shop no interested in it at all.mines worth 90.00 from site that sells em.

Your ring is a little more artful than mine...Only thing that makes mine worth anything is the brand name...ArtCarved
Someone out there will eventually want it...I hope.

HH,

My ring brand is BandIVLIFE a mens wedding ring by Miami metals, I bet the person that lost this wedding ring is in dog house or divorced LOL

I cannot keep mine on my pinkie finger...keeps slipping past the knuckle because it is so heavy...lol...I also look a little "funny" with a pinkie ring...lol

HH,

Doesn't fit my big fingers but my wife can put it on her finger perfectly LOL
