STILL DIGGING UNDER THE SAME LIVE OAK TREE

HAY I THOUGHT I HAD FOUND EVERYTHING THERE WITH MY SOVEREIGN XS-2a PRO
I AM TIRED OF DIGGING IN THE PEA GRAVEL & RED CLAY FILL DIRT TO A DEPTH OF 5in, IT'S AS HARD AS CEMENT..IF IT WASN'T FOR THE ROCK PICK I GOT FROM STEVE IN SO. AZ. I GUARANTEE YOU I WOULD QUIT TILL IT RAINS..
ANY WAY I FOUND 8pennies,, 3dimes ,,AND A SMALL CHILD'S "SCHOLARSHIP" MEDALLION .. I LIVE 16 MI. FROM TOWN AND HAVE TO WATCH THE PRICE OF GAS..
HELP ME OUT,, I NEED A REAL GOOD EXCUSE TO GO TO GO TO TOWN THIS WEEK END...GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU ...HENRY & CHRIS . :twodetecting:

In november we are going to Morgan city again. Depending on how much time we have maybe we could meet somewhere in between. I'll keep you posted,Steve
 
Maybe you need some groceries...do ya need milk and bread?? Parts for the car or truck? Feed for the horse, cow or old mule?? Meds for any ailments?? Just choose one or all for an excuse! :D

Wait til you get some rain and the ground is diggable again! You're gonna be diggin' holes so deep you're gonna have to brush up on your Chinese :)

I have the same problem here right now... I'm dying to dig some around my church but it hasn't rained much more than a sprikle or two in the last couple of weeks. On top of that it's still hot and humid. The day before yesterday it was around 90 and the humidity was probably around that too. Yuck. Maybe what's left of the hurricane will bring us some rain and soften up the ground a bit.
